In Memory of Jane L. Conner, 1932-2011

Jane L. Conner of Walker Valley, NY, devoted wife to Mac Conner died Thursday, November 10, 2011, in Middletown surrounded by her loving family. She was 79.

Jane was the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia Gibbons Leclere. She was born January 25, 1932 in Bronx, New York.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Macpherson "Mac" Conner at home.

Daughters, Betsy Agostinho of Walden, NY, Wendy Laudenbach and her husband James of Nazareth, PA, and Holly Boyle of Walden, NY. Her surviving sons include Drew Conner and his wife Lori of Bardonia, NY as well as Fox Conner and his wife Lisa of Congers, NY. Jane is also survived by nine grandchildren. Jeff, Derrick, Brittany & Sirena Boyle, Christopher & Patrick Laudenbach, Fox & Robert Conner and Bryce Conner a.k.a."Mini-Mac". JaneÕs sisters also survive her and include Susanne Meyer and her husband Hans of Switzerland, Nancy Shelby of Rhode Island and Diane Leclere.

Prior to starting her family, Jane worked in the fashion industry as a model and also became a manager at Lord & Taylor in New York City. ÊAfter raising her children, she obtained her real estate license and also held other positions in the sales industry.

Jane will best be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. As the steadfast matriarch of the Conner family, she taught many valuable lessons through the years. The most important being the value of family. She will be sorely missed.
